From the hills of Sonoma County comes Issara Wine. Issara is a Thai word meaning “freedom,” and was chosen to represent the label’s willingness to explore outside formulaic standards while still priding itself on quality and value.

Our Issara Wines spice up traditional varietals with a Pan-Asian flare to capture the intricacies of various cuisines finding its way across the sea. Foreign ingredients and exotic spices found in cuisines from Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, India and Singapore to Japan, China and Korea are bountiful and create a great wall of complex flavors.

Issara matches those complexities with hand-selected grape varieties from Sonoma’s rugged geography, varied soils and temperate climate. Common ingredients in Asian cuisine like chili peppers, shallots, cilantro, onions, bamboo shoots, basil and lemongrass are finally acknowledged with Issara Wines.
